Ever since you remembered your dad, Miguel O’Hara, was there. Of course, there are certain moments of your childhood you don’t remember, as every child has, but your earliest memory is your dad picking you up and soothing you as you cried at two years old. And ever since then, he was always there. Your friends at school would always say you were so lucky that you had a dad that was so devoted to you, and you agreed. To an extent. See, he was very particular about what he allowed you to do. It wasn’t in a negative way, necessarily, he was just protective. His favorite saying and your least favorite saying in your house was ‘I just want what’s best for you, cariño.’

It resulted in you staying home from school events, friend events, and generally any type of event where your safety could have been compromised. It caused you to be a bit of a loner, always hearing about the parties, the gossip, all of it instead of actually experiencing it for yourself.

Of course, it annoyed you.

It still does.

He’s loosened up a bit eventually, though, allowing you to go to work with him. Which also meant you got to meet many spiders. Quite a few of the spider-people quickly became your closest friends, as it was simpler and easier for your dad to keep tabs on you in Spider Society. Much to his chagrin, you quickly became best friends with Hobie Brown. The two of you were around the same age, and since you were annoyed at your dad and in your rebellious era, you got along swimmingly. A little too swimmingly, actually, which Miguel purposefully chose to ignore for the most part. Until he saw Hobie sucking his little one’s face off. Regardless, Hobie was always quick to validate all your conflicted, annoyed, and even positive feelings about your father. He even helped you come out of your shell and rebel against Miguel occasionally.

Miguel didn’t like this very much, but he also knew that Hobie was still a good influence on you. No matter how many times both of you tried to convince him that he wasn’t. But sometimes, Hobie would talk you into doing things that he very much disliked. Hated, even. And this time was one of those times. While he was out, containing a particularly difficult anomaly, Hobie convinced you to search through Miguel’s personal files on his supercomputer because he bet if your birth certificate would be anywhere, it would be there. When you found a folder with your name, you expected to open it to see some family pictures, hoping for your birth certificate with the name of your mom. Your dad never really talked about your mom, just that she passed away during childbirth. You stopped asking because every time you did, he would get very quiet and a guilty look would appear on his face. But you’d be lying if you said you weren’t curious. So you went into this endeavor excited to see what you might find out. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last for very long. See when you opened your file expecting these mundane things, that wasn’t what you were met with.

In fact, that was nowhere near what you found.

You found detailed notes all about you.

“What the hell,” you mumble, scrolling through the various pictures of you as an infant, with two adult strangers. Hobie said nothing, looking at all the pictures and skimming the important parts of all the files you were pulling up with a frown on his face. You stop on a specific picture of a woman holding you in a hospital bed. She was smiling.

And she was very much alive.

Tears immediately start to well up in your eyes as Hobie gently pulls your hands away from the computer. “Think that’s enough a’ that, love,” he says softly. You yank your arms away from him. “No.” You scroll to the next photo, seeing a man you’ve never met before holding you in the same hospital room, with the same strange woman right next to him. The next time you scroll, it’s a detailed account from Miguel about who you are. Notes from your dad declaring you a ‘danger’ and that you ‘must be contained somehow.’ Talk of your biological parents, their names, and how you had to be separated from them before ‘irreversible damage was done to the multiverse.’

You stare at the screen, and Hobie pulls your hands away again, successfully this time. He steps between you and the screens, blocking your view and slowly walking you backward and away from the files. You’re too shocked to say anything, the only thing you can do is quietly cry. Hobie opens his mouth to say something when Miguel’s voice rings out. “What do the two of you think you’re doing?”

The two of you turn your heads toward Miguel, and his annoyed frown turns to one of concern as soon as he sees the look on your face. “¿Qué tienes, mi corazón?” Miguel asks, his voice much softer as he approaches you. Hobie moves, positioning himself between you and your ‘father,’ and scoffs. “Think you got some explainin’ to do ‘ere, mate,” Hobie says, and Miguel looks at him confused. Then he sees what’s on the screen. A look of horrified realization spreads across his face, and he looks at you. “(Y/n), cariño, I can explain.”

“Don’t call me that,” your voice, albeit shaky, finally comes back to you. Hobie turns his attention to you, squeezing the hand you’ve been holding onto for dear life ever since he pulled you away from the computer. “(Y/n)—”

“Who am I? Who are you to me?”

“…Please, let me—”

“WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE?!” you shout, desperately yearning for your dad to say they weren’t what was said in his reports. But all he does is frown. “They’re… they are your biological parents,” he confesses, and you make a choked noise. Hobie subtly begins turning his watch to his universe, ready to make an escape from your dad at any point. “If you just let me explain—”

“I’m a threat to the multiverse?” you choke out through your tears, “What the fuck does that mean, papá?! If I can even call you that.” Miguel’s jaw clenches. “Don’t forget who raised you.”

“How could I?! How could you?! Is this why you never let me do anything?! Too worried your querido bebecito would destroy the fucking multiverse?!”

“(Y/n). I did it to protect everyone.”

“What about me?! Did you ever plan on telling me?! How is separating me from my family protecting me?!” Hobie places an arm around your shoulder, pulling you closer and keeping you shielded by him as Miguel tries to step closer to you. Miguel glares at him, and Hobie glares back. Miguel holds out his hand in a surrendering way. “It was to protect you just as much, if not more, as it was to protect everyone else. If you would just listen—“

“No. No, I’m done listening to you.”

“Cariño—”

“I am not tú cariño. I am not tú corazoón. You are not mi papá,” you say, venom behind your words. You can practically see Miguel’s heart shatter into tiny little pieces.

That was the worst thing you could have ever said to him.

Before he can say anything else, Hobie opens the portal, pulling you through and closing it almost immediately. You find yourself in the familiar atmosphere of his flat. “C’mere, love,” he mumbles, pulling you into his arms. You grip his shirt, sobbing into his chest as he rocks you back and forth, softly shushing you occasionally and rubbing your back. After what feels like hours, but was really maybe a minute, he swiftly picks you up, carrying you bridal style to his bed as you continue to cry into his shirt. He sits down, placing a soft kiss to the top of your head and rubbing up and down your arm. He can’t help but feel guilty for this. If he didn’t convince you to look at the computer…

“Don’t blame yourself, Hobie… please,” you whimper, and he sighs. “Love, you needa stop bein’ so good at knowin’ what i’m thinkin’,” he mumbles, and you look up at him with a soft smile. “Can’t help it. Even your thoughts are loud,” you say, and he snorts. “Chuffed to see the cryin’ made ya feel better,” he says and you shake your head. “I still feel like shit, Hobie,” you whisper, and he frowns. He gently wipes some tears away from your cheeks. “Reckon all ‘at cryin’ has you knackered?” he mumbles, and you nod softly. He lays backwards, maneuvering the two of you to be laying down. The two of you face each other, one of his hands cradling the side of your face while the other soothingly rubs up and down your side. You grip onto his shirt, and he places a soft peck on your nose. “‘m sorry, love,” he says, and you sniffle. “I already told you it isn’t your fault.”

“‘Kay, still feel like it was,” he says, and you sigh. “That’s not important right now,” he mumbles, gently pulling you closer. “What’s important is that I make you feel better.” You look at him, your eyes are still glossy from tears. “Never met someone who looked so stunnin’ when they cry,” he says, gently stroking your cheek. You smile softly, and he does too. “There’s my favorite smile,” he whispers before softly placing his lips on yours. It’s only for a second, but it makes all the pain go away. And you’re grateful for that. Even if it is just for a second. “Get some sleep, love.” He kisses your forehead, tangling his legs with yours and pulling your head into his chest. You relax into him. He was right. The crying was exhausting. Before you know it, you’re asleep as Hobie gently traces shapes into your skin, whispering anything and everything he loves about you to you so softly that if you weren’t really listening, you wouldn’t hear any of it. No one makes you feel protected quite like Hobie does.

And even if it’s just for a moment, thanks to Hobie, you feel like everything will be okay.

Chan had invited you to join his VLive, and you happily agreed, putting on a comfortable hoodie you had, that just so happened to be a hoodie that he got you. Stay was surprised when they’d realized Chan was dating you- you weren’t an idol (at least not professionally, Chan saw you as his own personal idol <3) and you’d never really been in anything big. But Chan loved you nonetheless.

That particular last comment had you blush a bit, surprising you that someone would say that. Chan just giggled again. “Yep, that’s my y/n. She may not be famous but you guys will totally see more of her, I swear.” He looks at you for confirmation after saying that, to which you nod your head, and he smiles in return.

After a while of him playing songs at Stays request (and some random time when Han comes in to bug him about stuff, being silly) you get bored. And so, you get an idea.

You move to sit on Chan’s lap, making it seem innocent enough, just trying to be close to your boyfriend, but you have other plans. Situating yourself nearly right on his crotch, you squirm, making it seem like you’re getting comfortable.

Chan takes notice fast, his cheeks and ears heating up. He doesn’t say anything, just looking for whatever song Stay recommends, but you know it’s all an act. Chan can never resist you, but he has to stay strong for a little longer.

Workouts between you and Changbin were fun, though exhausting. You weren’t as used to it as Bin was, and though you enjoyed it, you always ended up sore.

He knew this, and always made sure he could help you, whether that be by helping you lift your weights, build up your stamina by jogging alongside you and letting you know when it’s ok to take breaks.

Though, you decided to take your break while he was doing reps, pushing the weighted bar up and down where he laid. Getting bored, you decide to go sit on his lap. Nothing new for you, he’s used to you sitting on his lap while he does his reps, so all he does is give you a small smile, before continuing.

With a small shift of your hips, you catch him off guard by swiveling them to get comfortable, right on his crotch. His thick arms stutter for a second, almost going unnoticed by you, but he continues his reps, seeming distracted. You smirk, and shift around more, now knowing what you’re doing but playing it off as trying to get comfortable.

He sighs, before putting the bar on its holders and sitting up. “Baby, what do you think you’re doing?”

You shrug. “I dunno, just getting comfortable.” You grin, trying to make it seem like you have no clue what you’re doing.

He cocks an eyebrow, smirking. “Oh, really?” He brings his hands down to your ass, squeezing it. “C’mon, since you’re just so desperate, let’s go home.”

You get off of him, giggling, and you walk out of the gym to your car. You don’t make it all the way home due to one of his hands gripping the inside of your thighs.

His response was nothing less than enthusiastic. He thoroughly enjoyed doing art with you, drawing, painting, pottery, anything. He smiles, and walks over to you.

“Of course I do, baby.” He sits down on the bed from where he was working on his own painting. He’s almost always willing to drop a small project to help you or do things with you. “So, what are you drawing?”

You smile, and turn back to your sketchbook. “I’m trying to get better at anatomy, so I’m working on drawing women in different poses.”

He nods in acknowledgement, and looks at the detailed drawings. “You’re really good, honey.”

You giggle. “Not as good as you, Jinnie.” He grins, kissing your temple. “You flatter me, princess.”

“Can I sit on your lap while I draw, Jinnie?” He nods, smiling happily, and gets comfy so he pulls you into his lap. You grab your pencil and start sketching more, making sure to draw the lines and anatomy right.

You hear Hyunjin sigh behind you, and one of his hands moves to your hips, his chin resting on your shoulder. After a bit more time passes, you feel his plush lips press to the nape of your neck, and his thumbs rubbing little circles into your hips. You sigh out contentedly, leaning back into him, and this gives him the incentive to press deeper kisses into your neck, gently nibbling, making you whimper.

He brings his lips to your ear, lowering his voice to a husky whisper. “I think you should put those pretty hands somewhere else, princess.”

Jisung decided to take the day to work on a project, since he had a song idea berating the forefront of his brain and he just had to get it out.

You decided to join him, keep him company while he works, putting beautiful vocals and his own raps into the song, composing pretty tracks and music. You’re always in awe at how he works, and it makes you giggle when he finishes singing a particularly high note or a hefty rap verse and looks over to see you with a loving gaze in your eyes, causing a pretty shade of pink to dust his cute cheeks.

Jisung loved you for being next to him, with him, on top of him, underneath him, any position really. And with the way you were sat comfortably on his lap while he put the vocals and music together on the computer, he felt so comfortable in your presence.

You lean your head back against his shoulder, and you turn your head to kiss the base of his throat. “How’s the song coming along, Sungie?” You hadn’t been paying attention, half asleep with your eyes closed, comfortable and sleepy in his warm embrace with the light tapping and clicking of his keyboard and mouse.

Jisung smiles. “It’s going well, baby.” Looking down at your sleepy figure, he placed a gentle kiss on your bare shoulder, the loose jacket you had on slipping down your arm, the thin strap of your tank top slipping with it. “What about you? You seem tired.” He chuckles.

You shift yourself around, spreading your thighs across his lap as you face him, smiling sleepily. “I am just fine, Sungie. But I could be better..” You slip your hand slowly down his abdomen, to his crotch, pressing down. “I could be fuller.”

Jisung blushes, but then grins, holding your hips. “Oh?”

You nod, biting your lip, and you lean forward to whisper in his ear. “Need your cock, Sungie..”

“I’m alright, Lixie..” You snuggled your face into his chest, him rocking back and forth gently. Felix presses a light kiss to your head, smiling.

“Well, I’m making some brownies, wanna help me?”

You looked up at him, and the sleepiness in your eyes made him smile. You nodded, and he lets go, holding your hand and walking with you to the bowl of batter. You rolled up your hoodie sleeves, and rubbed your eyes.

“You okay, sweetie?” He looked over at you, an expression that was a mix of concern and amusement on his freckled face.

You nodded, smiling and kissing Felix’s cheek. “Yeah, I’m okay, Lixie. But let’s get back to your brownies!”

He smiled, and started stirring the batter with you.

It’s all happy and dandy til you said you were tired, using that as an excuse to come behind him, wrapping your arms around his waist, leaning your head against his back. He didn’t have a clue as to your true intentions, only nodding and continuing to stir, so naturally, he was caught of guard when you run your hands down his abdomen to his crotch.

Felix let out a small gasp, and whined as you rubbed your hand up and down, which made you grin.

“Baby-“ he whimpered out, “we- mh- we should go into the bedroom if you want to do this.”

You smirked, his normally deeper voice a bit in the higher range as he whimpered.

“Well, let’s go then.” You grinned as he blushed, your hands leaving the now more prominent bulge in his sweats. You grabbed his hand, dragging him away from the batter to your shared bedroom. Please don’t take this the wrong way, because I still think you’re writing is incredible and I look forward to every update, but am I the only one who finds Takeshi incredibly weird? Like he’s got a wife and 3 kids and yet he’s still pining over my dad who’s been dead for years now. It’s time to move on dude, come on.

If he was younger and single then I’d understand, but the way it comes off, to me at least, is pretty emotionally unfaithful. It reads like Takeshi views Viktor as “the one who got away” which is kind of a shitty attitude to have when you’re married with kids. We haven’t even met Rins mom yet and I already feel bad for her lol, this whole situation is uncomfortable.

Anyways, sorry for my rambling and if you got offended I really do apologize, I wasn’t trying to be mean. Good luck on your future writing!

I appreciate you being polite when writing this and don’t worry, I’m not offended 😁 I have talked a little bit more about him and his feelings for Viktor and about his marriage with Azami in other asks, but I realize that some of them, I answered like in the early days of this blog being up (boy, time sure does fly because it feels like yesterday to me 😭) and not everyone will have read all of the related asks.

So, everything is a lil bit more complicated for Takashi than what it might seem like on the surface, and of course, I can’t really put all of this history and backstory in the main story because it’s not focused on Takashi, or Rin, or the Aikawa, and thus, I understand why some people end up seeing Takashi in a worse light. This is, of course, not to say that he is perfect. I feel like no one in my story is perfect, even Viktor himself, and I like to keep it that way. But I hope my long-winded explanation in this post will help you get a clearer picture on Takashi and his complicated love life 😭.

And right now in the story, I’ll say that he has actually moved on from Viktor. Sure he still remembers and mourns him around the anniversary of his death, and talking about Viktor (and Yvette) is still a sore spot for him, but as they say, you don’t really forget your first love. Also, he has fixed his relationship with Azami (thus their decision to have the twins) by the time of the main story and they’re at their best right now and I’ll explain more in details below the cut.

I’ll put it under the cut because it’s going to be a long one as I try to summarize Takashi’s and Azami’s history together and some additional lore stuff for those who are interested.

For starter, his marriage to Azami was an arranged one that both of them didn’t really have any say in it and it doesn’t help that both of them didn’t even have time to properly get to know each other by the time they got married. They were also pretty young (around early to mid 20s perhaps? I don’t have my notes open right now).

It was a… politically strategic wedding that Takashi’s father and Azami’s maternal grandfather arranged.

And additional info since I don’t think I have mentioned this anywhere actually, but Azami’s maternal side of family is a Yakuza clan/family back in Japan and by establishing some kind of family relationship with the Aikawas—who focuses their businesses in the US—they hope to keep the door open for possibilities of expanding their own business abroad in the US through the Aikawas. They haven’t really done that, but it’s nice to already have and secure the connection. And vice versa for the Aikawas if they wanna do some business in Japan.

It doesn’t help that Viktor was literally Takashi’s first love and that they’ve known each other since they were kids. So, by the time of his marriage, Takashi didn’t really have enough time to kind of, let go or grow out of his feelings for his first love and he was basically getting married to a stranger.

But to think that this means that he automatically becomes an emotionally distant husband and father is wrong. He spent time talking and hanging out with Azami (mostly initiating them first because Azami is the more introverted and reserved one in their relationship), trying to build a relationship—that should’ve been built naturally in normal marriages—with his wife. It did end up being more like a platonic relationship at first than a romantic one, but still, Azami appreciated that.

He’s also a good, caring, and warm dad for Rin and he did take care of Rin as much as Azami did. I’ve said this before in another ask, but when she got married to what is basically a stranger, Azami expected the worse and Takashi was a very pleasant surprise for her.

I think along the way, Azami fell in love with him for real first, but the fact that Takashi still saw her more of a platonic partner and still had romantic feelings for Viktor at the time… It did put a strain on their marriage.

But both of them didn’t really give up on their marriage and even though it took years, they slowly work on their relationship. It was not an instant progress but over time, Takashi ends up falling in love with Azami as well and that’s also the reason why they had the twins like more than a decade after they had Rin (The twins are still very young in the story right now).

Rin was born because of both of their families’ pressure and expectation, but having the twins is the decision that Takashi and Azami made themselves out of love.

While his feelings for Viktor is still there somewhere in the background, it’s waay weaker and fainter than when he was younger. Right now in the story, I would say he has moved on, although he still remembers his first love occasionally, especially around the time of his death. After all, they say that you can’t really forget your first love.

But yeah, in the story currently, his relationship with his wife is at its best and he’s living happily with his family.

And while a part of his motivation to get Rin to marry MC is in part to kind of fulfilling an impossible dream of his, it is also just for… practical reasons. The fact is that the Aikawas have a little bit more to gain by tying the Morozovs in an alliance based on blood ties than the Morozovs do. The Morozovs have the stronger manpower and raw force/strength and nowadays, they have decent connections too.

I mentioned this before in the past ask about the two families’ history, but their alliance started out because the Aikawas were having a pretty rough time protecting their turf from the other criminal groups and families back in New York. They mostly have power by accumulating and brokering information and connections, but they’re a bit lacking in like raw force and power, and that’s where Grandpa Morozov saw the opportunity for alliance and went to talk with Takashi’s father. And the rest we know how it plays out.

So, yeah… I think that’s all I have to say in this post and I’ll definitely be referring to this post again if I ever get similar asks. I don’t know whether it helps you understand Takashi a little bit more or not, but I do hope it’s not as black and white as it once was 😅

☆Staring☆: Vil Schoenheit, Malleus Draconia and Leona Kingscholar

Synopsis: Their reaction to Fem!Reader who likes doing things in a more complex way and giving herself more work than she should do.

Warning: Leona’s part has cursing and a lil bit of argument scene in it cuz Leona is stubborn as fuck and so are you. Not proofread. Very long.

Vil Schoenheit

Would be concerned about your health, since you often forget to take care of yourself when working.

This man would share your frustration. He claims it’s like a virus, it affects him as much as it does you.

You’d fuss about how hard the work is going to be and he’d fuss about you GIVING yourself the hard work that isn’t really necessary.

“Where is that girl?” Vil paced around the hallways of NRC looking for you, he heard about the project you were going to do and he knew that there’s no good to come of it since you have a habit of overdoing the work. He asked around and a student pointed out that they saw you in the library.

He went there and found you sitting under a pile of books that seem to tower up so high that if it stood beside you it’d actually be your height. He sighed and walked up to you. “Ahem.” He made his presence know. You looked up and smiled at him “Hi hun!” You greeted him. He loved your smile, it was warm and pure. That smile made him less mad at the things you put yourself through.

“Hi…” he greeted back, he gave you a smile too, how can he be mad when you look so happy working hard like that. “What’s all this?” He asked, motioning to the pile ok thick leather books. “History of potion magic, Encyclopedias, Recipes for potions, and a bunch of other stuff I need to read for my project”

“Potato…do you really gonna read all of these potionology books for one project? I can help you yknow?” Vil stood beside you, hands on his hip as he watched you burry yourself under a heap of hours and effort soon to be wasted. You sighed “Yes I need to” stubbornly you went back to the book in your hand. “Really? Are you certain that you’d rather read than let me help?” He asked

“Vil, I know you wanna help but I wanna do this one on my own, Plus these books might have an easier solution to the project…”you said while reading, he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. “Darling, There IS an easier solution…” he protested “I’ll teach you, if you really don’t want me to help hands on, at least let me teach it to you instead of all this unneeded complex reading” he added, trying to convince you.

You looked up from your book and open your mouth to say something but he placed a finger hovering above his lip signaling you to not try to argue, “I’ll even give you my notes if you need it. There you’ll find everything you need to know about the project…” he said trying to persuade you even more.

“but Vil…” you mumbled, he sighed “Potato, I love you, but you’re really going to give yourself so much stress that pimples might start spreading through your pretty face…And I will not stand for it. Come now we’re going to Pomfoire and I will tutor you there.” He said packing your bag for you. “Can I at least bring one book?” You asked, he looked at you in disbelief “Do you not trust me?” He stated dramatically

“No of course I do! I just wanna learn quicker so you don’t have to work so hard to teach me…” you said in defense, he crossed his arms still in disbelief, “Please?” You asked again, it took him a few seconds before he broke, “Fine. BUT! only one book, and I get to tell you which one…” he gave you a condition which you gladly agreed to. He sent you to pick up the book in the front desk as he continued to pack your bag.

“She is going to be the cause of MY acne break out, oh by the queen’s name, I’m gonna need tea and face mask for the two of us later…”

He really does care about your well-being, so he does his best in helping you when he sees you’re doing way too much.

And yes that includes the spa appointment, skin care and tea afterwards, he might die if he sees even a single pimple on your face because of stress.

Malleus Draconia

Out of the three he’d be the most chill about it tbh.

He doesn’t understand why you give yourself more work than is needed but sees that you’re dedicated to it so he supports you.

And mayyyyybe casts “little” spells to finish the unnecessary parts of your job and tells you that you’ve already finished it even though he did it.

Still showers you with praise even though his magic did half of the work since he knows you really want to do your job well.

“Tsunotaro…did you see where I put the history of magic papers I printed out earlier, I need to read all of them before I can write notes for the test tomorrow…” you looked for the thick compilation you fished out of the library earlier. Malleus sat by the window and smiled “You’ve already finished it dearest…” he said, he’s well aware that, that is not true but it was white lie, he did it for you.

“Huh?? I did?? I finished my notes?” You said and looked at your notebook, pages already filled with summaries and meanings of the lessons Trein discussed for the past semester. Malleus made sure his spell mimicked your handwriting so you’d be convinced. “See? All done. Good job my love I’m proud of you” he praised and gave you a peck on the cheek

You, still having no recollection of when you wrote all of this, stood there thinking about it. “So…if I already did this, that means I only have to review and then I’m done?” You questioned yourself “That was too essy…” you said in suspicion…Malleus gave you head pats as a form of distraction “Yes well you are a hard worker, no wonder you finished so quickly…” he cooed

“Did I really do this??” You looked up at him in confusion, “Yes my beloved you did. I’ve been watching you pace around, write and read for hours! Look at you, you must be exhausted.” He cradled your face his hands trying to make you forget about the subject. “You’re being really affectionate right now Mal…” you looked up at the horned fae in front of you

“I’m always affectionate” he contradicted your claims, slowly taking the notebook out of your hand and placing it down the table “Yeah I know but right now it’s like 10x more than usual” you pushed on. He was calm outside like usual, but he’s internally trying to come up with an alibi to defend himself without sounding guilty and he’s running out of excuses.

“I miss you.” He blurts out in panic, silence filled the air for a bit until you broke out in a fit of giggles you reached up cup his face and gave him kisses still while laughing “aw, I’m sorry, did I seem like I was ignoring you because of my work?” you asked, he kissed your wrist and nodded, he was celebrating in his head cuz his plan worked.

You weren’t suspicious or working too much AND you’re giving him attention. Mission Accomplished. “Oh alright, I guess I have been too busy, maybe I’d forgotten I already did things…I’ll take a break and spend time with you” you said to your boyfriend who was now smiling brightly

“Thank you for being patient with me…” you told him and gave him a hug “I was told by Lilia that it was a quality of being ‘husband material’ he said hugging you back, you laughed and pulled away to look at him “Wow I have to step up my game to be ‘wife material’ too then huh?” You joked “You don’t need to you’re perfect” you chuckled again at his love struck statement “Sweet talker.” You hit his chest lightly and gave him a kiss before you went to go rest and spend time with him.

He often does it to shorten the time and effort you spend on working so you dont end up sick. But sometimes he does it cuz he wants you to give him attention but he doesn’t want to disturb you

He told himself one day he’d tell you because he feels guilty from time to time, you’ll just have to wait until you graduate and marry him until he does.💀💀

He’s basically an overgrown cat, so he’ll annoy the shit out of you if it means you’ll give him attention and stop working.

He hates this habit of yours and doesn’t understand the concept of giving yourself more work than required. He thinks it’s a waste of time and energy

Will literally shred the papers with his claws or push a pile of them off your desk just because he’s annoyed that you’re working and not even paying him any mind

You were trying so hard to focus on the notes your writing because your boyfriend kept yawning in full volume. You knew he just wanted attention but you kept explaining you aren’t done and he was being petty. Not wanting to start an argument you just continued on and ignored him. Or at least your TRYING to

“Hey herbivore, remind me again why ‘ya need to deal with all this crap when you can just oh I don’t know let the teacher teach it to ya ‘cuz yknow? It’s their job” he sarcastically asked knowing exactly what the answer will be. He didn’t get an answer out of you, so he knocked a pile off your desk again. “LEONA! I JUST FINISHED ARRANGING THOSE!” You stood up at the sound of papers hitting the floor

“So? That means ‘yer done with ‘em…” scratches his head, not caring at all. You glared at him but didn’t utter another word as you sat down to pick it all up. “Can ‘ya cut this shit out, you’re doing too much for simple quiz. If you’re gonna be doin’ this much why don’t you just teach the class” he leaned against the wall, his tail impatiently flicking back and forth.

“Why don’t you just shut up.” You snapped. It was uncharacteristic of you to do so, especially because in the relationship you’re the one with more patience. Not this time though. He scoffed, he felt slightly nerve wrecked by your tone but didn’t let that affect him. You arranged it again and took it to your work table where Leona is off limits.

You sat down. Took a deep breath, before picking up the pen to start writing again, but then the ripping of paper flooded your ears. That was it. You turned your head to Leona scratching a bundle of papers under his claw. You marched and snatched it from him harshly. “Out.” You demanded. “What?” He looked at you annoyed.

You only glared at him. You were gonna explode if you said another word. He groaned in boredom “This is stupid. You’re being stupid, you’re doing all this for what? For a quiz? Why?” He snapped as well “Oh I don’t know, maybe because I wanna do good in class. You don’t get it, maybe your able to slack off and no one could give a fuck about it, why? Cuz you’re already the ‘all powerful dorm leader of savanaclaw’ and all that high and mighty shit.” You argued pushing him back

“Meanwhile, I have to do ‘all this crap’ because I need to. I’m not powerful like you are, I don’t have magic, I don’t belong here, I wanna do well so I feel like I fit in…” you rambled, now feeling sorry for yourself, Leona only listened for once “I thought for once, you’d actually be the one to have patience FOR ME this time I need you to be… you’re just being bitchy…” you added looking up at him pained and tired, you sighed and looked down “Just go.” You said walking back to where you were before.

It was silent so you assumed he already left, you continued to work even though you felt awful now. Leona still stood there, he felt bad after he heard you say that and he knew he went too far with his attitude this time so he stayed quiet and waited. You took your work and place it down the carpet so you could have more space, you sat down and started writing again.

His tail still swung back and forth in annoyance but this time it’s because he knows you’re really not gonna give him attention cuz you’re mad. He crawled to you quietly and sat behind you, his large frame enveloping yours, he loosely draped his arms on you waist and rested his head on your shoulder.

You weren’t surprised, you continued to do what you were doing. His tail made soft pats on the wooden floor, it was a sign of anticipation, he was waiting for you to say something to him, thinking his little act of affection was enough of an apology. I'm no analyzer or anything, but look at Leo's! I love how his handwriting is just a bit... messy? It's still written very clearly and legible but just kinda looks like he writes fast. I mean, he probably does 😅 And I love that it goes out of the box sometimes just on the edges! I really like how he writes his 5's also but that's mostly just cuz that's how mine look

Mao's looks a lot more straight by comparison! I like that he starts the lines in the last three boxes on the left edge (notice how Leo started sorta in the middle) and how he wrote his birthday with the month and day characters instead of only numbers. And his writing seems a bit smaller too. I feel like it obviously makes sense for him to be a bit neater

With the newer characters it's a bit harder cuz we don't really know them yet, but I feel like what we have is enough to kinda guess (on some of them, at least) I'm not too sure about Esu, but his cute compass drawing?? He kinda writes like Mao but his letters are a lot more crammed and less neat

For Ibuki though, I feel like this says a lot! The thick marker? Big writing, and he goes out of the box quite a bit. I also didn't realize he wrote "smile" at the top, I couldn't read it at first 😅. Based on this I'd say he seems really bold and confident (he gave those vibes away just by how he looks tho) Also I love his lil star in his signature, so cute!

Kanna is (as we already know) very neat! His handwriting looks so nice. Good spacing, straight lines. It looks pretty fancy. I also think it's fun that he also has a thicker pen/marker, I don't know what that says about him but his writing definitely looks really nice

And Yume's is so cute!! The round letters, and so many hearts 💕 His signature is so fun! And look at how many hashtags he put in the box. I can't wait to read his stories, the fact that he's a cosplayer is fun, I hope his stories talk more about what he likes to cosplay

And Raika's!! I love the way his letters trail off a bit at times and get kinda stuck together. And it looks like he wrote kinda smaller and more cramped to fit in the box more. What if, instead of pulling just grandkids... Casita trapped ALL of the Madrigals in their rooms... before falling apart and the family disappearing.

The people, obviously, search over the area for months, but find nothing. Félix and Augustín's families are devastated. Not only had the magical family disappearanced... but also had their sons, daugthers-in-law, grandkids and so on. Félix's family decides to stay low for awhile, while Augustín's completely leaves Encanto, as staying gives them too much pain...

Until, months later, a new little boy is born. To Félix's family, many say he looks like his deceased/disappeared relative and, as if in a joke, they decide to name him after him...

All would go back to normal, unless something else happens... when somebody says there's a couple by a river outside the mountain. A man and woman, in late stages of pregnancy. The villagers, seeing the couple has so threat and in quite vulnerable condition, take them in, until, exactly on birthday of long gone Julieta, Pepa and Bruno, the woman gives birth... to healthy tiny triplets. The fact the couple's names are Alma and Pedro don't help any bit.

While the new parents are happy about their children and that they were born in good condition... the Encanto starts to wonder, who are these people and, some very hopeful, if the Madrigals' magic was able to save them and sent them back, before everything went down the hill. And it all seals when the small house, the two had built on a hill near edge of the small town, starts to glow and comes to life.

And that's when the villagers know. La familia Madrigal is back. But would they tell Pedro and Alma about past life... or, in fear of causing other catastrophe/fall incident, they stay quiet and let the family live their lives, in the dark of their past

Phil hums as he gazes through his spyglass, eyes settling on the nearby figure.

He stays sitting like this for a little bit and simply watches Etoiles try around with his weapons, potions and a couple of other things he seems to have picked up. Once Phil knows enough about Etoiles current movement pattern he puts away his spyglass and opens up his wings.

His hands clutch the glider for a brief moment in a tight fist, loosening his grip shortly after with a smirk now dancing on his lips.

Phil takes a step back and without a second thought leaps off of where he was perching in the first place. The glider catches wind pretty fast and he uses his wings to properly get himself into position, eyes watching the oblivious Etoiles below him. He tries to lose a bit of his height so he wouldn‘t absolutely ram Etoiles into the ground from the sheer force he could build up like this - Techno could handle it, but he was much more physically stronger considering his origins. And that was not even counting the potential injuries he could get himself, too.

So current goal: get close enough to try and perch, but not too close for Etoiles to notice.

He feels quite happy that luck seems to be on his side today, as Etoiles is still too distracted by his own weapon shenanigans to actually notice him slowly gliding closer.

Once close enough for Phils liking, he switches out his glider and with the smallest help of his tattered wings lets himself fall towards Etoiles.

Just as Etoiles goes in for a swing with his scythe, Phil lands right on his shoulder, almost clawing into it with a giggle.

Etoiles surprisingly doesn‘t flinch, or if he does then it‘s not noticeable. The only thing he does do that shows any surprise from his side is the split second where he almost stumbles, now having to adjust to a new weight as his weapon cuts through the air.

As soon as the weapon comes to an halt though, Phil notices the few steps Etoiles takes to steady himself from leaning to fall over - so with a quick push, he jumps off from Etoiles.

"Why did you do that?!" Comes from Etoiles almost immediately, tone of voice making it clear he was upset.

Phil can‘t help the way he freezes up. He didn‘t think Etoiles would be mad at him for this, they‘ve done little surprises before - maybe he should‘ve asked first and not done it based on his own impulsive thought.

Maybe he‘s right in being upset-

"I was so close! I had it, you didn‘t have to jump off from me!" Oh.

Oh, Etoiles isn‘t upset at him, at this.

He‘s upset at Phil not having been able to perch and jumping off instead. Well that’s relieving, at least.

Etoiles however stares at him for a moment as if he was a puppy that was just kicked. "I can‘t even be a proper perch, how am I going to live knowing this?"

"Mate, it‘s fine," Phil tries to reason, patting Etoiles‘ shoulder and nudging him.

Etoiles however simply sighs, shaking his head and putting away his weapon. "A shame, I am."

There‘s a moment of silence, Etoiles blinking a few times before grinning. "Oh you bet. Right now?"

"Just stay there like that." Phil takes a couple of steps back as he tells Etoiles to stay and now Etoiles gets what Phil is trying to do, eyes watching him with a little spark of excitement.

It doesn‘t take long before Phil starts his small sprint, rather quick and light on his feet that carry him. Once close enough he takes one jump, one of his feet pressing onto Etoiles intertwined hands that boost him upwards.

Etoiles finds himself pleasantly startled at how light Phil just is, easily being able to boost him up into the air and position himself just right for Phil to land on his shoulders. There‘s a couple of wobbles as they get used to the weight combined, eventually having Phil slowly turn around so they look the same way.

"You‘re much lighter than I expected," Etoiles finally comments. He grabs his backpack again, intending on continuing with his previous plans.

Phil simply just chuckles, getting comfortable. "Avian. We‘re pretty light, hollow bones or something," Phil hums in response, contently watching his friend go about his own things.

Etoiles stops his movement for a brief second. "Hollow bones? Do you think the codes have hollow bones from how easily I beat them?"

Phil laughs, giving Etoiles a little whack with one of his tattered wings.
